Post it Tuesday

I found this great idea on the blog Adventures of Wannabe SupahMommy

Miscommunication

Lately I have been reading people's signals all wrong. I thought I was getting "I hate you with all my guts" glares from someone close to me but she thought we were cool. I told my guy the other day I wanted to go see my aunt's baby, he never recalled. Am I losing it? Or is it the other people or am I not being clear enough? This is all too confusing.

Women in general, or maybe me in general need to be more clear. I have a ton of things on my mind just waiting to burst but I instead hold it all in. I hold it all in until like a volcano, waiting for it erupt. I do not know why I am doing this to myself. I have this intense pressure band wrapped around my head, right at the temples...

and then this hadith came to mind: The Holy Prophet, Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam has said: “If a Muslim is afflicted by a headache or a prick of a thorn or any other harm, Allah will elevate him on the Day of Judgement one rank and expiate his sins due to this.”

Maybe all that I am suffering right now is meant to expiate me from my sins. The tears shed and the sleep lost to be free from sin.

I cannot...

sleep tonight. Everyone is knocked out. I cannot fall asleep. I have too much on my mind and want to talk to my hubby about it but cannot find the time. I feel hot and cold. This cold will not go away. Whenever I walk my back hurts. I have this pressure in my head and am scared.

Fill a whole bazaar!

The other day I was at my mom's. It was my niece, my 3 kids, me, my mom and dad. Dad got home late. All his grand babies were up. None asleep! He was like, "I have 4 grand babies from one son and one daughter. What's going to happen when I marry the rest off. The whole bazaar will be filled." It was just super cute. No matter how crazy they drive him and my mom with their endless crying, they still are grandparents at heart who love their grand babies.

My hubby's bff had a son at 5:30 am. His wife went to the hospital the previous day at 5:30 and one day later, they welcome into the world a brand new baby boy. He has not been named yet.

My cousin,S and hubby M (love those initials for various reasons) had a baby girl. They named her Maida.

My aunt is still in recovery from her C-section. She had 3 surgeries to stop the bleeding. She will be in ICU for a few days. Baby is doing fine, alhamdulilah.

What a mother must go through to bring her kids into this world and then raise them to be civilized human beings worthy of respect is even more work.
