I'm an English major. I still have not finished my degree but that is besides the point. I love writing. Give me a topic and a limit and I will fulfill it.
Lately movies seem to be narrated. When was the last time you watched a show or movie that was not narrated? Think real hard. It sucks out the fun. I rather not know what is going on inside Betty's head or Grey's head. The mystery is the fun part. The not knowing.
The only not knowing that's beginning to frighten me lately is the END. Death. Resurrection. The Last Days of this Earth.
With everyone thinking 2012 is the last day, I was thinking, what if it actually was? Would you be prepared? How do you know that you will see the year 2012 or even tomorrow?

I teach 2nd grade and I teach them right away that they should be able to write about any topic that I give them (I always give them the example of a purple shoelace). I think it's a good skill for them to have.
