Today my mom's brother's wife's mom came over with her daughter and grandson. The first thing she said to me upon seeing me again after 4 years was, "Are you fat or just pregnant?"
I said, "I'm fat." (But of course I'm like 7 months pregnant.)
Then before she left she was like, "Really, how many months are you? and when are you due?" So I said, "I'm 7 months and due on Independence Day."
What a way to be patriotic!

I don't think I know anyone who's had their baby on the day they've been due (except caesereans). But I hope you manage it!
I didnt have either of my kids by my due date. The first one was a preemie and the second was overdue so this one will be a big surprise!
her comment about "do you eat the money" was ridiculous. some people are just odd and critical about everything and u gots to learn to ignore them.

ROFL. This is soo confusing. I love how Desi's have these relationships where even distant people seem close enough. Like it would be rude to not invite them to your wedding or something.
That's pretty rude, though. and I should think you would be able to tell if someone was preggo or fat? Weirdo.
Some people don't even know they are rude or not. They think what they say is totally normal.
