So I am the one in my house who has to pay the bills and basically I am the accountant of the family. I do not want to continue being the accountant in my family after my bil get married. They will have to learn how to deal with what is coming in and out of the house in terms of money. My hubby made the comment yesterday that I just write and give away however much money is required without knowing the details. It stung and I wanted to cry. Instead my kids cried all night until they fell asleep. I made a payment of 60 dollars on my chase freedom card and he wanted to know how much of the balance was left. I said I dont know.

Read this book: The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey.... from one family "accountant" to an another (ugh, I hate it too).
